Immersive soundstage, precise highs
The high range is covered by a planar magnetic tweeter, which is particularily detailed and revealing.Moreover, it is mounted in an open baffle design, which greatly enhances the atmosphere created by the speakers.
Impressive low end response
The 7 inch woofer is aided in its quest by a wide, folded bass port design, as well as DSP optimisations. The result is a low end response typical of much larger speakers.
No tinkering required
Just place them in your favourite spot, plug the right speaker in and connect the left speaker to the right one. Connect via Bluetooth and listen to your favorite tunes. That’s it.
Input Options
You have the possibility to connect another sound source via the RCA or 3.5mm audio jack on the back. You’ll be able to listen to your favourite tapes, CD’s or even your LP’s with a preamped turntable.
Placement
You may want to refine the position of the speakers for optimal sound stage and experience. The front bass port lets you bring the speakers closer to the back wall, giving you a greater freedom of motion.
Crafted, not made
The Columni are crafted by hand in Romania. The cabinets are made from a combination of baltic birch ply and beech, all hand finished in natural pigmentation and our own blend of traditional shellac and nitrocellulose laquer finishing. All drivers are paired prior to cabinet installation and once assembled, all speaker sets are extensively tested and broken in for at least 4 hours.
Versatility
Using the RCA or jack line input, you can connect the Cloumni to all your audio equipment, such as a DAC or a turntable with a phono preamp. You can even connect them to your TV or surround reciever. They are small enough to fit in tighter spaces, yet powerful enough to make their presence felt even in medium sized rooms.
